A variety of non-surgical aesthetic services are available with our Aesthetic Nurse.
What is Microneedling?
Microneedling is an innovative skin treatment used to improve your skin's tone and texture while smoothing out fine lines and wrinkles. Microneedling creates tiny 'micro channels' in the skin which allows topical gels to penetrate the skin more effectively, enhancing their effects in deeper layers of the skin. The micro channels also stimulate the skin and aids in the production of collagen and elastin, helping to tighten the skin and improve your skin's appearance. Treatments are performed in our office and typically last 30 minutes-1 hour.
What are the benefits?
Microneedling can be used to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles around the eyes and throughout the forehead.
Microneedling can also be used on:
- Stretch Marks
- Acne Scars
- Areas of Hyperpigmentation
Everyone's skin is different and we will customize your microneedling treatment to fit your skincare needs and timeline. Most patients will see optimal results after 2-6 microneedling treatments. During your complimentary consultation we will review your aethstetic goals and evaluate your skin to determine the treatment plan that is right for you.
What does the Microneedling feel like?
Most patients report little to no discomfort when having a microneedling treatment. While certain areas can be more sensitive than others, the speed of the micropen used at our practice makes the treatment more comfortable for patients.

What is Dermaplaning?
Dermaplaning is a type of exfoliation technique that safely and evenly clears away superfluous skin layers and fine vellus hair to deliver high-strength peel efficacy, while minimizing visible post-peel shedding. This service should be performed by physicians or medical skincare specialists trained in the use of a modified surgical blade designed specifically for this purpose. This service takes 15-20 minutes to complete. Most patients experience minimal to no down time and can return to work and regular activities following the service.
What are the benefits of Dermaplaning before a chemical treatment?
- Diminishes appearance of dry fine lines
- Increases absorption of peels
- Prevents significant post-peel shedding to minimize downtime through pre-exfoliation of dead surface cells
What does Dermaplaning feel like?
Most patients feel very little during this non-surgical service. It feels like a gentle scrape of the face.
Can this be a stand-alone service?
This service can be completed on its own, however the inteded purpose is to be the exfoliation proir to a chemical treatment so the treatment is thus more effective.

This new in-office treatment targets spots on the face and body for removal. Through rapidly freezing the spot or lesion with carbon dioxide (CO2), the human tissue achieves effective cryo-necrosis. This means that the tissue treated freezes and ruptures the cell membranes of the spot or lesion. This treatment can safely and effectively treat localized benign skin spots and lesions. A precise flow of CO2 targets cosmetic skin spots and lesions without harming the surrounding skin. This treatment is non-invasive, affordable, requires little-to-no downtime and most patients only experience no to mild discomfort.
