Plastic Surgery Group Wives: Giving Back in the Community
July 21, 2017
The ability to give back to give to the community creates a great sense of satisfaction, accomplishment and humbleness. Over the last several months, the wives of the Plastic Surgery Group physicians have been working on The Bedroom Project for Partnership for Families, Children and Adults. Partnership for Families, Children and Adults is a community impact agency that has been empowering people to build better lives through over 20 programs for over 140 years. The Bedroom Project was spearheaded by a local volunteer who used her connections of friends, family and community network to make this project a success. The Bedroom Project was the renovation of 14 bedrooms and an emergency housing room at the agency’s Domestic Violence Shelter.
Coordinated by Mrs. Jamie Rehm, the wives brought together their skills, talents and time to renovate Bedroom 11. The wives are grateful to have been able to participate in this project that so greatly benefits individuals right here in Chattanooga.
The happiness, gratitude and peace brought to clients of Partnership for Families, Children and Adults when they saw the rooms for the first time made all of the hard work that much more worth it. Thank you to the wives for their generosity and selflessness.
